Mini Pod Accommodation Terms

LUPO Wolf Sanctuary Rules

To ensure the safety and well-being of all our visitors as well as the protection of our natural environment, we have established the following rules for the LUPO Wolf Sanctuary site. Please read them carefully and respect them during your stay.

1. No Smoking or Vaping

Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited throughout the LUPO Wolf Sanctuary site, including camping areas, trails, and common spaces. A designated smoking area is located between the ticket office and the parking lot for those who wish to smoke.

2. Cleanliness of Accommodations

Accommodations must be returned in the same condition as upon arrival. A $250 deposit will be collected at the time of rental to cover any potential damage or if the accommodation is left unclean. If no damage is found and the space is clean, the deposit will be fully refunded.

3. No Pets Allowed

Pets are not allowed in the accommodations or anywhere on the LUPO Wolf Sanctuary site. This measure is in place to ensure the safety of both visitors and the sanctuary animals.

4. Do Not Feed the Wolves or Throw Objects into the Enclosure

Feeding the wolves or throwing any objects into their enclosure is strictly prohibited. This rule is in place to protect their health and preserve natural behavior.

5. 10:00 PM Curfew

A curfew is in effect starting at 10:00 PM. We ask all visitors to respect this curfew to ensure the tranquility of both the wolves and other guests. Loud noises or music will not be tolerated after this time.

6. Prohibited Disturbing Activities

Ball games, fireworks, or any other activities that may disturb the peace of the wolves and visitors are prohibited on the LUPO Wolf Sanctuary site.

7. Food Management

Never leave food outside, not even on the platform, as raccoons or other animals may roam around. Tents must remain closed to prevent entry from animals such as squirrels, raccoons, etc.

8. Arrival and Departure Times – Sleep with the Wolves in Mini-Pods

When you have booked one of our accommodations, you may check in at reception between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Please note that access to the Sanctuary is not possible in the evening. We want to ensure you are comfortably settled in before that time.

Accommodations must be vacated by 10:00 AM on the day of your departure. Please check out at the reception desk. However, you may enjoy the sanctuary site for the rest of the day until 5:00 PM.

9. Guidelines and Safety

• Some areas of the grounds include steep slopes, ponds, and streams. Please supervise children closely.
• Guests requiring specific medication must bring their own supply, as the Sanctuary cannot provide medication.
• Mini-Pods are designed to accommodate between 1 and 4 people.
• Bringing your own firewood is prohibited to prevent the spread of tree diseases (e.g., Emerald Ash Borer, Asian Longhorn Beetle). Please use the wood provided.
• Photo ID is required upon arrival to validate your reservation, along with your invoice/gift certificate or package.
• The number of guests must match the number stated in the reservation. Any additional unregistered guests must leave or pay extra fees.
• No outside visitors are allowed on the site.
• Smoking is strictly prohibited inside accommodations.
• Pets are not allowed in the accommodations or on the Sanctuary site.
• Fires are prohibited during periods of heat and drought.
• Glass bottles are not permitted on site.
• A $75 cleaning fee will be charged if the accommodation is left in poor condition. It must be returned clean, as it was upon arrival.
• Clean floors and countertops before leaving.
• Clean beds using the product provided.
• Any damage to equipment or facilities will be charged to the renter.
• You are responsible for your personal belongings. LUPO Wolf Sanctuary is not liable in case of theft or damage.
• Access to accommodations other than your own is strictly prohibited without prior authorization.

10. Cancellation and Change Policy

You may cancel or modify your reservation up to 30 days before your stay. In the event of a cancellation, 25% of the pre-tax reservation amount will be retained. Less than 30 days before the scheduled date, no cancellations or changes will be accepted, and no refunds will be issued.

11. Cancellation and Change Policy – Flex Rate

Our Flex tickets allow you to book your visit with peace of mind. A date must be selected at purchase, but it can be modified (non-refundable) up to 7 days before your scheduled stay, subject to availability. Less than 7 days before, no date changes or refunds will be granted.

We thank you for your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for all our visitors. Failure to comply with these rules may result in penalties, including partial or full withholding of the security deposit.
