Winter 2025 - Tracking and Winter Adaptation
Activity for adults only.
Presentation of the facilitator:
The activity will be guided by Ariane St-Amour, bioecology technician and nature enthusiast. Ariane has followed several training courses on the identification and biology of fauna and flora. She also worked for the collections of the Canadian Museum of Nature in Gatineau, which strengthened her knowledge in the field. His goal now is to pass on his knowledge and passion to the people around him.
Presentation of the activity:
In this activity, Ariane brings you to discover the little-known world of tracking. In addition, in this 2.5 hour walk, you will learn the different secrets of wildlife to survive our harsh winters, going from the smallest butterflies to the big bears that inhabit our forests.
Some important details:

Dress warmly. The activity takes place regardless of the temperature.

Arrive 15 minutes prior to the activity to see the wolves.

The activity will be postponed in the event of a severe storm.

Bring water and collection (Snack foods are available on site in case you forget)

Bring a notebook and pencil.

Animals are not allowed on the site.

No refunds are offered, only a credit in the event of cancellation of a ride due to a bad storm.
